Founded in 1972 as R Collins, we have provided insurance solutions for thousands of businesses and individuals over the years and enjoy genuine relationships with our clients.

In 2019, R Collins became Lagentium Insurance Brokers which better matched our vision and our goals. We take our name from the Roman for our home of Castleford, where many of our clients are based.

Whilst we know Castleford and the wider area very well, we are not limited in choice of insurers. Our membership to Bravo Networks gives us access to some of the most competitive markets out there.

Consistency is key.

We know that solid relationships depend on consistency. Our team has been working together for decades as we pool all this experience to deliver a truly remarkable insurance service.

Along with my wife, I acquired the Company in December 2015. Cert CII qualified as well as being Diploma PFS Qualified, I have worked in Financial Services for over 30 years

With over 30 years’ experience, I started at R Collins & Co as the office junior in 1985 and worked my way up the ranks until finally purchasing the business in December 2015 before we rebranded to Lagentium in 2020. I enjoy travelling to see clients in different sectors of business and helping them with all their insurance requirements. I feel my team provide a good service and strive to help all our client to obtain the best cover for their needs.

I joined the company in 1997, and have over 25 years’ experience in the Insurance Broking industry. My main role now within the company is looking after Insurer and Client Accounts and dealing with day to day insurance enquiries.

Louise Carter

From university I started work at what was then Norwich Union before joining Lagentium in 2003 (when it was then R Collins & Co.). Working my way through the ranks I now specialise in Commercial Insurance of all types and became the Office Manager in 2015, followed shortly by becoming an Associate Director in 2016.

Helen Lunn

I joined the team in 2010 after having a break from insurance to have my children. My main role is dealing with all Personal Line renewals but also deals with anything else that is required.
